This quilt was designed for that man in your life-or not! Let’s face it. Men don’t like to sleep under flowery and girly quilts. This quilt, Starshine, is the perfect solution. Use light and dark batik jelly rolls or your own stash. Of course, this pattern can be adapted for anyone else by using other fabric choices and great for a stash buster. Starshine was designed so the top 2 rows cover the pillow area displaying the handsome paper foundation star in the center. This variation of New York Beauty is user friendly to make. The star points are paper pieced. Use Anne’s freezer paper method of applique with no raw edges or difficult curved seams to sew to complete the star. This is so much easier and fun to make!
