Landscape quilt   20" x 20"

full again_edited.jpg
This was my 1st landscape quilt.
-The sun were slivers of yellows cut curves, then covered with yellow tulle.-The rocks were individually cut out with tulle covering the path.

-The trees were cut with a Brother Scan & Cut, covered with green tulle and carefully cut around the branches.

-The flowers were fussy cut with handcut greens behind.

-The background was drawn on freezer paper, then duplicated onto another freezer paper and cut up. The shiny side was pressed to the back of the chosen fabric, then cut all but 1/4". I then pressed the 1/4" over the freezer paper with the help of a small paint brush and spray starch. There are no raw edges on the background. Then I used monofilament thread with a 1.0 stitch length and width to attach to each other.
