INCONSISTENT
I made this top as a modern sample, but then I didn't know what to do with it. See the transformation below.
1. I drew rays on freezer paper, the same size as the quilt.
2. Cut out the rays
3. Iron the shiny side to the quilt front
4. Stitched around the edges on the quilt
5. Pulled the freezer paper off
6. Machine embroider long lines and free motion scribbling to fill in the rays
7. Free motion quilted modern in the colored strips and lots of motifs in the gray portions. Fun!
